I’m very excited about this one!! I have been invited to show my work at the gallery of Larry & Pat Worley in the Tannery Arts Center, Studio #128.

This is particularly sweet for me because I used to work at Salz Tannery right up until it closed in 2001. It was a community of friends who I shared much with and was sad to see it go. It is wonderful how the new Tannery Arts Center has grown up on the property and the creators have saved some of the historic buildings. There is a lovely display of photographs telling the history of Salz Tannery located in the heart of the Tannery Arts Center.

Please come see me at studio #128 and help celebrate my return to this place which I hold dear!

Larry weaves really wonderful sculptural baskets using primarily reed but incorporates branches, driftwood and antlers as handles, frames and stands.

Pat is a textile artist who uses various dyeing and discharge techniques to create wall  hangings.

She also dyes scarves and creates  jewelry using semi-precious stones in beautiful color combinations.

I look forward to spending the evening with them!
